irregular platter with large hole

this stunning piece is up to 3,5cm thick in some places.
it´s somewhat of a miracle that it lasted through the
firing, and it´s single-fired too!
I attribute this to weeks of drying time, since this
mother of a plate is made from my regular plastic
porcelain clay, that I use for all my throwing.
I almost ripped it into two pieces when I tried to move
it onto a drying board and it fell on the radiator,
who´s pattern is now petrified in one corner of the plate.
it´s a heavy piece with a landscape of a surface, and is
comfortable in a supporting role (for delicacies) or
a lead role
